The final of the Kazakhstan Cup in classical chess has started in Almaty

In each category, there are 12 participants (based on the results of the stages of the current year), and 4 nominees from the Kazakhstan Chess Federation.

The tournament is conducted in a knockout system and will last until December 5.

The final features renowned grandmasters and winners of world tournaments: Aditya Mittal (India), Bardia Daneshvar (Iran), Timur Gareyev (USA), and Alisher Suleimenov, Arystan Isanzhulov, Elnaz Kaliahmet, Aldiyar Ansat, and Alua Nurmanova (all from Kazakhstan).

This tournament is a great opportunity for young chess players to demonstrate their skills and compete for the prestigious title.

Symbolic moves on the first boards were made by Adil Galimzhanovich Kozhikhov, advisor to the head of Freedom Holding Corp., and Beket Tairovich Zharokov, vice president of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation.

The knockout format adds extra tension and drama to each match.

We wish the participants luck, precise calculations, and interesting games!
