Lineup of the 2023 Kazakhstan Cup Final in classical chess

The Kazakhstan Cup Final (hereafter referred to as the "Final") will take place in the city of Almaty from November 27th (arrival day) to December 6th (departure day), 2023, at the "Fortis" Business Center, located at Khodzhanov Street, 2/2.

Organized by: The Kazakhstan Chess Federation. The total guaranteed prize fund is 23,000,000 tenge.

The finals are conducted using a knockout system with 16 chess players, separately for men and women. Time control for classical games is 1 hour 30 minutes + 30 seconds for each move made. In each match, 2 games will be played (with white and black pieces). In case of a draw in the classical match, an additional "rapid" match is played (15 minutes + 10 seconds for each move made). If there's a draw in the rapid match, an additional "blitz" match is held (3 minutes + 2 seconds for each move made). In the event of a draw in the blitz match, an "Armageddon" is played.

For the Finals, there are 12 participants based on the results of the 2023 stages, and 4 nominees from the KCF.
